Hauls in touchdown pass in TNF win Hooper caught both of his targets for 11 yards and a touchdown during Atlanta's 35-14 win over Green Bay on Thursday.

Impact Hooper was on the field for 16 of the Falcons' 71 offensive snaps, which was behind fellow tight ends Charlie Woerner (43), Kyle Pitts (42) and Nick Muse (17). However, unlike those three tight ends, Hooper contributed to the scoreboard by hauling in a five-yard touchdown pass from Michael Penix with just over a minute left to play in the second quarter. Hooper has a 4-31-1 receiving line (on six targets) through the first three games of the regular season.

Catches two targets in loss Hooper caught two of his four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Panthers.

Impact Hooper garnered significant attention for a No. 3 tight end. The 31-year-old saw the second-most targets for the Falcons, behind wide receiver Drake London. With Cooper Rush or Jack Strand at the helm of the offense, Hooper's large catch radius and vast experience in the NFL could keep netting him consistent attention and production.

Signing one-year deal with Falcons Hooper agreed on a one-year, $3.25 million contract with the Falcons on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Hooper's deal can become official Wednesday, when the new league year begins. The journeyman tight end spent his first four NFL seasons with the Falcons, who drafted him in the third round in 2016. Hooper has played for five NFL teams, most recently recording 21 catches for 263 yards and two touchdowns in 16 regular-season games with the Patriots in 2025. If the Falcons retain pending free agent Kyle Pitts as expected, Hooper would slot in as his top backup.

Records 21 regular-season catches Hooper finished the 2025 regular season with 21 catches (on 26 targets) for 263 yards and two TDs in 16 games.

Impact While working behind fellow TE Hunter Henry (who logged a 60/768/7 receiving line) in a New England offense that spread the ball around, Hooper's fantasy impact this season was limited to deeper TE-friendly formats. The 31-year-old is eligible to become a free agent this coming offseason, unlike Henry, who is under contract with the Patriots through the 2026 campaign.

Scores TD in Week 17 Hooper caught both of his targets for 11 yards a touchdown in Sunday's 42-10 win over the Jets.

Impact Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Hooper logged 27 of a possible 66 snaps on offense in the contest, while fellow TE Hunter Henry, who was out there for 43 snaps caught all three of his targets for 49 yards and a TD. As long as Henry remains healthy, Hooper -- who heads into Week 18 with a 20/258/3 receiving line in 15 games -- is only a lineup consideration deeper fantasy formats.
