Inks one-year extension with Indy The Colts signed Ajiake to a one-year contract extension Monday.

Impact Ajiake was signed by the Colts in mid-September after initially failing to crack the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He ended up appearing in 16 regular-season games and accumulated 32 tackles (13 solo), including 0.5 sacks, while contributing on both defense and special teams. Ajiake will aim to impress the coaching staff during OTAs, minicamp and training camp in order to earn a larger role for himself in 2026.

Two tackles in first NFL game Ajiake had two total tackles in Sunday's win over Miami. He played just on nine of the defense's 47 snaps.

Impact Ajiake was elevated to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of the game. He had a tackle on special teams where he'll get most of his playing time as a reserve linebacker if he stays on the active roster. Ajiake spent 2024 on Indy's practice squad after spending time on the practice squad or preseason rosters of the Packers, Raiders and Broncos in 2023 as an undrafted free agent from UNLV.
