Impact This car will be MBM's second entry into the Great American Race. Yeley will pilot the No. 55 Ford with solid sponsorship support from HEX.com. He'll be teammates with Timmy Hill in the team's second entry for the Daytona 500. Yeley will have to race his way into the season-opener since he doesn't have a guaranteed spot in the Daytona 500.

Starting from rear Yeley is starting from the rear in Sunday's South Pointe 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway after having multiple failed inspections, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.

Impact Yeley's No. 52 Ford failed tech inspections three times before finally passing on the fourth try. He will begin Sunday's race from the rear and lose his crew chief as a result.

Out of Sunday's race Yeley is being replaced by Garrett Smithley for Sunday's Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway, Geoff Magliocchetti of Empire Sports Media reports.

Impact The reasoning for Yeley's driver change isn't known but Smithley will now have to start at the rear for Sunday's race due to the late change.
