Signs MiLB deal with Rays Tampa Bay signed Houston to a minor-league contract Wednesday with an invitation to major-league spring training.

Impact Houston is 29 years old and has yet to appear in a major-league game. He registered a 4.43 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 73:28 K:BB in 42.2 innings last season between the Double-A and Triple-A affiliates of the Yankees.
