Luisangel Acuña - Losing playing time versus righties Acuna is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.
Impact On the bench for a fifth straight matchup versus a right-handed starting pitcher (Jack Kochanowicz), Acuna appears to have moved into the short side of a platoon in center field with the left-handed-hitting Tristan Peters. Acuna has actually fared better against righties than lefties this season, but he's still slashing just .205/.294/.227 across 52 plate appearances versus same-handed pitching. The 24-year-old has no minor-league options remaining, which may be the only reason the White Sox haven't yet demoted him to Triple-A Charlotte.

Impact Peters has now started in six straight matchups versus right-handed pitchers and appears to have settled into the strong side of a platoon in center field with Luisangel Acuna. Over the past week, Peters went 7-for-17 with a triple, a stolen base, an RBI and a run.

Impact Murray suffered the injury during Sunday's game against the Nationals when he landed awkwardly after making a diving catch in left field. It's unclear whether Murray will require surgery, but even if he doesn't, he's looking at an extended absence.

Impact Hays wound up missing three weeks of action with a right hamstring strain. The veteran outfielder was serving as the team's primary left fielder before getting hurt, but with Sam Antonacci getting an opportunity at that position, Hays could shift over to right field, which would eat into the playing time of Everson Pereira.
