Tyler Zombro has agreed to a minor-league deal with the Rangers just two years after suffering a skull fracture during a game.

Signs minor-league deal Zombro signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Friday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Zombro will get a chance to return to the mound after appearing in just one game with Triple-A Durham in 2022. The right-hander was struck in the head by a 104 mph line drive in 2021 which caused him to have a seizure. The right-hander will give Texas some relief depth in the minors for the 2023 campaign.
