Rejoins White Sox organization Johnson signed a 2022 minor-league contract with the White Sox on Tuesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Impact The righty pitcher will remain in the White Sox's minor-league system after he was released Thursday. Despite Johnson's 12.41 ERA and 3.06 WHIP with Triple-A Charlotte this year, the team must see enough potential to keep him around another year.
