Impact Casas was a thorn in the side of Giants ace Logan Webb, as the Boston first baseman hit an RBI double in the second inning and a solo shot in the fifth. This was Casas' fifth multi-hit effort during his active six-game hitting streak, a span in which he's homered four times and driven in eight RBI. The first baseman is up to a .256/.361/.491 slash line with 16 long balls, 40 RBI, 46 runs scored, 15 doubles and two triples through 90 games this season. Remains hot with big homer Casas went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a 5-3 win against Atlanta on Wednesday.

Impact Casas' perfect day at the plate included a seventh-inning solo shot off Spencer Strider that cut Atlanta's lead to a single run. The Boston first baseman has collected multiple hits in four of his past five contests, going 9-for-16 (.563 average) with three home runs, six RBI and a 5:4 BB:K during that span. Impact After enduring a brief lull at the plate heading into the All-Star break, Casas has emerged as one of the early standouts thus far in the second half of the season.
