Osleivis Basabe - Losing work to Taylor Walls Basabe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Impact Basabe is on the bench for a second straight game and appears to have lost hold of the everyday role at shortstop after Taylor Walls was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday. Though Basabe manned shortstop in Friday's 3-2 loss, Walls will pick up a second consecutive start Sunday in place of the rookie. Since he was called up from Triple-A Durham on Aug. 12 and replacing Wander Franco (personal) as the Rays' primary option at shortstop, Basabe has slashed .250/.316/.365 with one home run and nine RBI across his first 57 big-league plate appearances.

René Pinto - Moves into timeshare at catcher Pinto will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Guardians, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Impact Pinto seems to have moved into a timeshare at catcher with Christian Bethancourt, as the two backstops have now alternated turns behind the plate over the past 12 games. Since his call-up from Triple-A Durham on July 21, Pinto is hitting .295 but hasn't offered much production in other categories (one home run, no stolen bases, five RBI and two runs over 46 plate appearances).

Impact Rene Pinto will get the nod behind the dish in the series finale in Cleveland. Bethnacourt and Pinto have alternated starts at catcher over the past 12 games and look to be stuck in a near-even timeshare for now.

Impact Bradley will be making his first appearance in the majors since July 29, where he surrendered five runs in just 3.1 frames against Houston. He's pitched to a 2.91 ERA and 1.38 WHIP through 21.2 innings in the minors since being optioned July 31, but fantasy managers should be cautious with Bradley until he can establish himself in the majors.

Impact Siri went down on strikes in each of his first two trips to the plate before cranking a solo homer in the sixth to put the Rays on top 5-4. It was the center fielder's 25th long ball of the season and his first since Aug. 19 against the Angels. Siri is batting just .175 over his last 10 contests despite recording two multi-hit games over that stretch. He's also struck out at least one time in 10 straight games.
