Ceddanne Rafaela - Trio of hits in win Rafaela went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a steal in Sunday's 5-4 win over San Francisco.

Impact Rafaela sprayed a trio of singles, marking his ninth three-hit effort of the season. Through 20 games in August, the 25-year-old is slashing .307/.337/.500 with four homers, 12 RBI, 15 runs and two stolen bases. Overall, the center fielder has taken a major leap offensively in 2026, hitting .289/.328/.464 with 16 homers, 66 RBI, 67 runs and 17 stolen bases across 125 contests.

Nick Sogard - Goes yard in Sunday's win Sogard went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Red Sox.

Impact Sogard got the Red Sox on the board with a solo homer over the Green Monster in the second inning before adding a double in the fourth frame. The infielder has been on a tear of late, logging multiple hits in five of his past six contests. In 150 plate appearances this season, Sogard is slashing .287/.401/.426 with two homers, nine RBI and 20 runs.

Aroldis Chapman - Secures 29th save Chapman picked up the save Sunday against the Giants. He struck out one over a perfect inning.

Impact Entering with a one-run cushion in the ninth inning, Chapman retired the side in order to secure his 29th save. In August, the southpaw has converted all three of his save opportunities, allowing two earned runs across seven innings with an 8:3 K:BB. Overall, Chapman owns a 1.85 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 57:20 K:BB across 43.2 frames this season.

Matt Wilkinson - Tagged with first loss Wilkinson (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks over 3.2 innings in a 5-4 loss to the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Impact Wilkinson worked a scoreless first inning but allowed runs in each of the next three frames before being pulled at 66 pitches (47 strikes). The rookie southpaw took the mound on three days' rest, coming off two shutout innings in his debut Wednesday, so his workload was likely to be limited regardless of effectiveness. The Giants' exact plan with Wilkinson remains to be seen, but a looming doubleheader Saturday against the Diamondbacks could provide the southpaw with his next opportunity to start.

Jake Bennett - Credited with eighth win Bennett (8-6) earned the win Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk over seven innings against the Giants. He struck out six.

Impact Bennett ran into trouble early, surrendering three runs across the first two innings, but settled in to complete seven frames as part of a winning effort. The rookie's effectiveness had been waning of late, as he posted a 5.67 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 27 innings in his previous five starts entering Sunday. With an overall 3.49 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 67:18 K:BB across 87.2 innings (15 starts), the southpaw is tentatively slated to pitch next weekend on the road against the Yankees.
