Eric Haase - Selected from Triple-A The Giants selected Haase from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Haase's selection comes as a corresponding move to Daniel Susac (elbow) being placed on the 10-day injured list along with Jose Butto (arm) being transferred to the 60-day injured list. Haase has slashed .250/.300/.472 across 40 plate appearances in 9 games for Triple-A Sacramento to begin 2026. He'll serve as the back-up catcher to Patrick Bailey with Susac down.

José Buttó - Moves to 60-day IL The Giants transferred Butto (arm) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.
Impact Butto has already been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery Saturday to repair an artery in his arm, so moving to 60-day IL has no impact on his timeline. He'll cede his spot on the 40-man roster to Eric Haase, who was selected from Triple-A Sacramento to replace Daniel Susac (elbow) on the active roster.
APRIL 21 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Susac - Lands on IL The Giants placed Susac on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with an elbow injury, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact Susac has gone 11-for-23 at the plate in the big leagues this season and seemed to be on his way toward splitting reps behind the plate with Patrick Bailey, but the former will now have to wait at least 10 days before he gets another opportunity to start. Eric Haase will come up from Triple-A Sacramento to give the Giants depth at catcher.

2026 MLB Power Rankings: Who’s The Early MVP For All 30 Teams?
Heliot Ramos - Doubles in defeat Ramos went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Nationals.
Impact Ramos lined a double to right field in the ninth inning, logging an extra-base hit for a third straight game. The 26-year-old outfielder has reached base in five consecutive outings and has recorded a hit in 10 of his last 12 appearances, slashing .302/.348/.512 with 11 RBI, five runs scored and two longs balls in 46 plate appearances over the latter stretch. Overall, he's slashing .256/.301/.385 with 13 RBI, eight runs scored, four doubles and two home runs across 83 plate appearances in 21 games.

JT Brubaker - Logs scoreless inning Sunday Brubaker threw a scoreless inning in Sunday's 3-0 loss to Washington.
Impact Brubaker generated three consecutive outs in the eighth inning, throwing six of his 12 pitches for strikes. The right-hander hasn't allowed a run in any of his last five outings, giving up four hits and five walks while striking out three across 5.2 innings during that span. Overall, the 32-year-old owns a 2.38 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 8:8 K:BB over 11.1 innings in nine appearances.

Robbie Ray - Takes loss despite quality start Ray (2-3) took the loss Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings.
Impact Ray was sharp early, holding Washington scoreless through four innings before running into trouble in the fifth. An RBI double by Keibert Ruiz opened the scoring, and Curtis Mead followed later in the inning with a two-run homer. Despite the blemish, Ray still delivered a quality start, but San Francisco's offense again provided no support, leaving him stuck with another loss. The left-hander continues to pitch well, posting a 2.86 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and a 31:11 K:BB across 28.1 innings and will seek to continue his success in his next outing, where he's set to face Miami.

Curtis Mead homers, Andrew Alvarez shines in relief as Nationals blank Giants 3-0 to avoid sweep

Curtis Mead hit a two-run homer, Andrew Alvarez worked 4 1/3 sharp innings in relief and the Washington Nationals beat the San Francisco Giants 3-0 to avoid a three-game sweep

Drew Gilbert - Receiving steady playing time Gilbert will start in center field and bat eighth Sunday against the Nationals, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Impact While the Giants could hold him out of the lineup against some left-handed pitchers, Gilbert appears to have taken control of a regular starting role in the outfield against right-handed pitchers while San Francisco is without Harrison Bader (hamstring). Since being called up from Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday in the wake of Bader's placement on the injured list, Gilbert has now been included in the lineup in five straight games. Over his first four starts, Gilbert went 3-for-12 with a home run, two walks, two RBI and an additional run.

Casey Schmitt - Double, RBI in win Saturday Schmitt went 2-for-6 with an RBI double in Saturday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.
Impact Schmitt is 4-for-11 with a double, homer, two RBI and two runs scored in the first two games of the series versus Washington. After batting .158 through April 1, Schmitt has gone on a tear at the plate over his last 10 games. He's 16-for-41 (.390) in that span, including five multi-hit contests. On the season, Schmitt is slashing .317/.369/.517 with six doubles, two home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored, one stolen base and a 2:16 BB:K across 65 trips to the plate.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Heliot Ramos - Homers again in win Saturday Ramos went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, double, walk and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.
Impact After going homer-less over the first 19 games of the season, Ramos has gone deep in back-to-back games and has boosted his RBI total to 13 in the process. Ramos had a .185 average on April 3 but has gone 14-for-47 (.298) at the plate over his last 13 games to raise his slash line to .257/.304/.378 with the two homers, 13 RBI, eight runs scored and 5:25 BB:K across 79 trips to the plate. Ramos is striking out in 31.6 percent of his plate appearances after doing so at just a 22.7 percent clip during the 2025 campaign.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Ryan Walker - Blows save against Washington Walker suffered a blown save Saturday against the Nationals, allowing one run on three hits and two walks with two strikeouts across two innings.
Impact With the Giants leading 6-5 headed into the bottom of the ninth, Walker was called on to protect the one-run lead. He gave up a leadoff double to Jorbit Vivas and later the game-tying single to Brady House. Walker allowed two more baserunners in the 10th inning. Prior to Saturday, Walker hadn't entered in a save situation since March 30. Three different Giants are tied for the team lead with one save apiece. Walker has a 4.00 ERA and 10:5 K:BB across nine innings.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Adrian Houser - Struggles through 5.2 IP in ND Houser didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Nationals, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout across 5.2 innings.
Impact Houser surrendered a leadoff bomb to James Wood and was hammered for five runs before recording five outs. With below-average stuff, Houser relies heavily on location and keeping hitters off balance, and he was unable to do so against Washington. The 33-year-old now owns a 5.40 ERA and uninspiring 11:7 K:BB across 21.2 innings through four starts. Houser is in line to make his next start Friday at home against the Marlins.
