Impact Gonzalez has spent the entire season on the 60-day injured list, and although he is ready to play again, he will not immediately join the Giants. He appeared in 98 big-league games last season, so he could be back in the majors at some point.

Impact After slumping late in July, Wade has gone 7-for-18 (.389) with two home runs and four RBI over his first five games in August. The Giants continue to have Wade at first base while finding other spots for the red-hot Wilmer Flores. For the season, Wade is at a .270/.397/.430 slash line with 11 home runs, 32 RBI, 47 runs scored and two stolen bases through 97 games.

Impact Jackson has taken two blown saves over five appearances since returning from a back injury, though the first of those was due to allowing an inherited runner to score. The right-hander has a still-solid 1.98 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 19:6 K:BB through 13.2 innings this season.
