MLB Playoff Watch: Who is each contender's biggest X-factor down the stretch?
Thairo Estrada - Logs three-hit effort Estrada went 3-for-5 with a double in Sunday's win over the Rangers.
Impact Estrada led the way for the Giants with three hits but was left stranded each time. He now has five hits in his last two games and three multi-hit efforts in eight games since returning from a fractured left hand. The 27-year-old has primarily been hitting for the two or three spot in the lineup since returning to action and is now slashing .279/.333/.479 with 30 extra-base hits, 34 RBI, 47 runs, 18 steals and a 17:88 BB:K in 352 plate appearances.

Camilo Doval - Earns win after blown save Doval (4-3) got the win over the Rangers in extra innings Sunday, but he allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk and struck out one in 1.1 innings.
Impact Giants' starter Logan Webb was one out away from a complete-game shutout Sunday, but manager Gabe Kapler would not take his chances and called upon Doval to close things out after Webb allowed a two-out double. Doval got what he thought was a game-ending ground ball, but Ezequiel Duran beat the throw from Brandon Crawford and the run scored to force extra innings. Doval worked through some trouble in extras as well and allowed the Rangers to take the lead after he balked home a run following a leadoff single. The 25-year-old was bailed out in the bottom half of the frame after the Giants walked it off and awarded him his second win since the All-Star break. Doval now has two saves and a win in four appearances this month and sits at a 2.36 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 33 saves in 53 games on the year.

Logan Webb - Nearly tosses complete game Webb pitched 8.2 innings and was charged with a run on six hits and a walk Sunday against the Giants. He struck out six and was not involved in the decision.
Impact Webb had the complete game shutout at his fingertips, but manager Gabe Kapler decided to remove him in favor of Camilo Doval after Webb allowed a two-out double to J.P. Martinez. The next batter, Ezequiel Duran, managed to beat out a grounder to shortstop which scored Martinez to send the game to extras. Webb, who has already pitched one complete game shutout this season, fell just short of another but has tossed at least seven innings in five of his last seven starts. He has been far and away the Giants' best pitcher, though he sits at an undeserving 9-9 record. The 26-year-old boasts a 3.26 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 157:26 K:BB in 163 innings and lines up for a daunting road matchup with Atlanta his next time out.

Patrick Bailey - Supplies walk off home run Bailey went 2-for-5 with a walk-off two-run homer in Sunday's extra-inning's win over the Rangers.
Impact The Giants were down to their final out after they had been winning all game before allowing the Rangers to push it to extra innings. Bailey timed up an inside fastball from Will Smith perfectly and sent a laser to left field that just cleared the wall. It was his first home run since June 30 and he's now posted nine hits over his last 21 at-bats. Bailey had a rough month of July but has certainly turned things around this month and is now slashing .323/.447/.452 with seven RBI, four runs and a 7:7 BB:K through 38 plate appearances in August.
