Trent Grisham - Sitting amid slump Grisham is absent from the lineup Tuesday at St. Louis.

Impact Jose Azocar will start in center field and bat ninth as the Padres take on left-hander Zack Thompson. The lefty-swinging Grisham has gone hitless over his last eight games and is batting just .082/.237/.143 in 60 plate appearances since Aug. 8.
