Impact Thomas earned a promotion after slashing .319/.363/.362 with one home run and six stolen bases in his first 26 games with Tacoma this season. The left-handed hitter is not in the lineup Wednesday as the Mariners face southpaw Tyler Anderson, but Thomas could draw some starts in right field against right-handed pitching.

Impact Thomas began the season with the Mets' Double-A in Binghamton and was promoted in May to Triple-A Syracuse, where he has since slashed .235/.286/.377 with five home runs and 18 RBI through 196 plate appearances. The 24-year-old outfielder will likely report to Triple-A Tacoma upon joining his new organization.
