Aaron Nola - Struggles continue Sunday Nola (1-3) took the loss Sunday against Atlanta, allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.
Impact Atlanta got to Nola early Sunday. The righty gave up a three-run homer to Matt Olson in the first inning before giving up another three runs in the third, punctuated by an Eli White homer. Nola's failed to make it out of the fifth inning in back-to-back outings, allowing 11 runs in just nine frames in that span. His ERA is up to 6.03 through six starts (31.1 innings) with a 1.56 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB. Nola will look to turn things around in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week in Miami.

Chris Sale - Excellent again in fifth win Sale (5-1) earned the win Sunday over the Phillies, allowing one hit and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out nine.
Impact It was another stellar outing from Sale, as he notched his fifth win and quality start while setting a new season high with nine punchouts. The veteran southpaw has allowed just two runs over 19 innings in his last three starts, lowering his ERA to 2.31 on the year with a 0.91 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB across 35 innings. Sale is tentatively lined up to face the Rockies at Coors Field his next time out.

JR Ritchie - Set to start Wednesday Ritchie will draw another start on the mound Wednesday against the Tigers, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact Ritchie was exceptional in his major-league debut Thursday against the Nationals, tossing seven innings of two-run ball while striking out seven batters. He will now stick around with the major-league rotation for the time being as Atlanta has decided to shift Reynaldo Lopez to bullpen in order to allow him to fix some mechanical issues. With Spencer Strider (oblique) on the cusp a return from the 15-day injured list, Ritchie will be looking to produce another impressive outing against Detroit in an attempt to remain with the big-league club moving forward.
APRIL 26 ROTOWIRE
Martín Pérez - Tabbed to start Tuesday Perez is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact The veteran left-hander has been impressive while working as both a starter and long reliever early this season, posting a 2.70 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB over 23.1 innings. Perez will replace Reynaldo Lopez in the rotation Tuesday, though it'll likely be just a spot start since Spencer Strider (oblique) is due back soon from the IL.
APRIL 26 ROTOWIRE
Reynaldo López - Bumped to bullpen Lopez will be utilized as a reliever going forward while working on some mechanical issues, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact The right-hander's 3.74 ERA through five starts this year looks solid, but his 1.43 WHIP and 20:11 K:BB tell a different story. Atlanta will soon be getting back Spencer Strider (oblique) from the injured list, and Martin Perez will pick up a spot start Tuesday versus Detroit before Strider likely enters the rotation next weekend.
