Off to strong start Strzelecki tossed 1.1 scoreless innings and picked up his second hold of the season in Thursday's victory over the Padres.

Impact Strzelecki became a reliable reliever for the Brewers last season, and he has been that and some early on in the 2023 campaign, firing 6.1 scoreless frames over six appearances while allowing just five runners to reach base. He currently slots in as the third option in the Brewers' bullpen behind closer Devin Williams and setup man Matt Bush, but Bush has not been particularly sharp since joining the Brewers last August, so it's possible he could move up a peg in the pecking order.

Secures roster spot Strzelecki, per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, secured a spot on the Brewers' Opening Day roster.

Impact Strzelecki was not particularly sharp during spring training, but the 2.83 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 40:15 K:BB he posted over 35.0 innings out of Milwaukee's bullpen in 2022 helped him break camp with the big club for the first time in his career. Roles are up for grabs in the Brewers' bullpen behind closer Devin Williams, and Strzelecki will have a chance to be part of the late-inning mix.

Earns first career save Strzelecki picked up the save with a clean inning in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over the Diamondbacks. He did not record a strikeout.

Impact Strzelecki entered the game in the ninth inning with a 3-0 lead and set Arizona down in order to earn the first save of his career. The save opportunity was likely a product of the Brewers being out of playoff contention and manager Craig Counsell opting to give some of the younger players a look. Over 35 innings this season Strzelecki went 2-1 with one save and four holds with 40 strikeouts.

Impact Strzelecki was sent to the minors in early August but will rejoin the Brewers' bullpen after Trevor Gott (forearm) was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday. Over seven relief appearances in the majors this year, Strzelecki has posted a 3.27 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 11 innings.
