Carlos Carrasco - Participates in fielding drills Carrasco (hamstring) participated in fielding drills Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Impact Following Monday's fielding practice, Carrasco is expected to throw his first live batting practice sometime this week. While the right-hander could require several live BP sessions, he's expected to begin a rehab assignment shortly after. If he remains on track in his recovery, Carrasco could make his team debut prior to the end of July.

Jerad Eickhoff - Returns to Mets Eickhoff signed a minor-league contract with the Mets on Monday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Impact Eickhoff elected free agency after he cleared waivers Saturday, but he'll ultimately return to the Mets on a minor-league deal. The right-hander should report to Triple-A Syracuse after he made eight starts with the minor-league club earlier in the season.
