Edwin Díaz - Already feeling better Diaz (back) felt much better Monday after leaving Sunday's game against the Phillies with back tightness, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Impact The initial diagnosis didn't seem like a particularly significant injury, and it appears as though Diaz is already trending in the right direction. The righty pitched both Saturday and Sunday, so he was unlikely to pitch Monday even if fully healthy.

Trevor Hildenberger - Back in big leagues Hildenberger was recalled by the Mets on Monday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Impact Hildenberger spent two weeks in the big-league bullpen in April but made just two appearances, allowing four runs in 2.1 innings of work. J.D. Davis (hand) landed on the injured list in a corresponding move.

Jean Segura - Set for rehab assignment Segura (quadriceps) will embark on a rehab assignment this week, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Impact It's not clear exactly when the assignment will begin or how long it will last, but Segura should be back from his strained right quadriceps before too long. He was hitting .333/.359/.450 through 17 games prior to the injury.

Impact Alvarado was handed what was originally a three-game ban after his overly animated celebration of a strikeout Thursday against the Mets caused both benches to clear. The Phillies will now be without their top lefty for two games.
