Optioned to Triple-A
Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Summoned from minors
Atlanta recalled Wiles from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.
Impact
Wiles will provide manager Brian Snitker with a fresh bullpen arm for Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals. The 27-year-old's lone appearance with Atlanta earlier this season was in relief, but he's made 19 starts in 2025 at Gwinnett, so Wiles will offer some length.

Back in minors
Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.
Impact
Wiles didn't appear in Friday's game after being recalled from Triple-A earlier in the day, and he'll now return to Gwinnett to make room for Chris Sale's (ribs) return from the injured list. Wiles surrendered three earned runs during his MLB debut in April but has turned in a 3.24 ERA and 1.26 WHIP through 105.2 innings in the minors.

Recalled from Triple-A
Atlanta recalled Wiles from Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.
Impact
Wiles was knocked around in his major-league debut earlier this season with Atlanta, allowing three runs over one inning. He's been used mostly as a starter at Gwinnett, so Wiles will offer length in the bullpen after starter Cal Quantrill lasted only 3.1 innings in Thursday's loss to the Phillies.

Gets call-up from Triple-A
Atlanta recalled Wiles from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.
Impact
Wiles had been in line to start Wednesday for Gwinnett, but he'll instead move up to the big club to join the 26-man active roster as a replacement for right-hander Didier Fuentes, who was demoted after giving up eight earned runs in one inning in his start during Tuesday's loss to the Athletics. The 27-year-old righty will give the big club a fresh arm who's capable of covering multiple innings out of the bullpen, but if he isn't needed in long relief in Atlanta's remaining two games in Sacramento, he could end up filling one of the two open spots in the rotation during this weekend's series in St. Louis. Wiles was previously tagged for three earned runs in a one-inning relief appearance for Atlanta back on April 22, but he's been effective pitching out of the rotation at Gwinnett this season, logging a 3.33 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 78:24 K:BB in 81 innings.

Demoted after rough MLB debut
Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.
Impact
After getting his first MLB call-up Tuesday, Wiles looked like a strong candidate to serve as a bulk reliever in Atlanta's matchup with St. Louis. However, Atlanta ended up treating the game as more of a bullpen day, with opener Scott Blewett covering the first three innings and then being followed by four other relievers before Wiles entered the game in the top of the ninth with his team trailing 7-4. Wiles didn't do anything to distinguish himself in the low-leverage appearance, giving up three earned runs on four hits while striking out a batter in his lone inning. He'll now head back to Gwinnett, where he'll presumably slot back into the rotation.

Slated for MLB debut Tuesday
Atlanta selected Wiles' contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.
Impact
Atlanta had an opening in its rotation after Spencer Strider strained his right hamstring while playing catch Monday and was placed on the injured list, and Wiles looks like he'll get the first chance to fill the void. According to David O'Brien of The Athletic, Atlanta plans to use an opening pitcher to work the first inning or two of Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, but Wiles should be in line to see the bulk of the innings in relief. The 26-year-old right-hander had been the top starter for Gwinnett through his first three outings of the season, logging a 0.64 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB in 14 innings. If Wiles is able to deliver an adequate performance in his MLB debut, he could be in store for multiple turns through the rotation while Atlanta awaits Strider's return from the IL.

Traded to Atlanta
Atlanta acquired Wiles from the Rays on Friday in exchange for cash considerations, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.
Impact
Wiles, 26, spent last season at Triple-A Durham, posting a 5.54 ERA and 72:26 K:BB over 87.2 frames. He's struck out 11 and walked two over 6.1 innings this spring. Wiles will likely be assigned to Triple-A Gwinnett.
