Nolan Schanuel - Out of lineup Monday Schanuel isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's matchup versus Philadelphia, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Impact Schanuel went 2-for-3 with a solo home run Sunday in a loss to the Twins, but he'll head to the bench Monday while Brandon Drury gets a start at first base. This will be Schanuel's first time out of the starting lineup since April 19.

Jo Adell - Batting second Monday Adell will start in right field and bat second in Monday's contest versus the Phillies.

Impact It's Adell's seventh straight start in right field and the first time this season that he's batted higher than sixth. The 25-year-old is sporting a .327/.382/.592 batting line with three home runs and five stolen bases over his first 21 games this season and, perhaps most importantly, he's striking out at just a 23.6 percent clip. Adell came into this season with a career 35.4 percent strikeout rate at the major-league level.

Zac Kristofak - Back down to minors Following Sunday's loss to the Twins, the Angels optioned Kristofak to Triple-A Salt Lake.

Impact Kristofak closed out the last two innings of Sunday's game, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out two batters. The right-hander will head back down to Triple-A, where he has appeared in six games and has posted a 3.38 ERA and 1.32 WHIP over 18.2 frames. The move corresponds with right-hander Davis Daniel being recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

Impact Daniel was optioned to Triple-A during spring training. He's started in five games with Salt Lake, going 0-3 while recording a 6.08 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 26:8 K:BB over 23.2 innings. To make room for Daniel, the Angels optioned right-hander Zac Kristofak to Triple-A Salt Lake following Sunday's loss to the Twins.
