Moves back to Triple-A Jannis was promoted from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Impact Jannis was demoted to Bowie in mid-August, and things haven't improved much for him since, as he's allowed 26 earned runs on 42 hits across 29 Double-A innings. Despite those struggles, he'll return to Norfolk and could remain there for the remainder of the season.

Impact Jannis spent the last month and a half with Norfolk after clearing waivers in late June. Things haven't gotten better for the knuckleballer, as he posted a 7.25 ERA and 1.75 WHIP in 22.1 Triple-A innings. He'll now head to Bowie, where he'll look to right the ship.
