Moving to left field Arroyo will begin transitioning from second base to left field this month during the Columbian Winter League, Adam Jude of the Seattle Times reports.

Impact Arroyo played second base exclusively in 2025 between High-A Everett and Double-A Arkansas, where he slashed .262/.401/.433 with 17 homers and 12 steals. He has never played the outfield before, but with the Mariners' infield depth, the organization has elected to move the 21-year-old to left field. Arroyo could push to debut at some point during the 2026 season.

Promoted to Double-A Arroyo has been promoted from High-A Everett to Double-A Arkansas, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Arroyo will be bumped up a level after slashing .269/.422/.512 with 15 home runs and three stolen bases over 65 contests with Everett, which includes a .309/.454/.599batting line since the start of May. He will play the entirety of the 2025 season at just 20 years of age, but Arroyo appears ready to be tested in the Texas League.

Impact Arroyo saw action in nine Cactus League games this spring, going 2-for-11 at the dish, but the top prospect was always destined to return to the minors to start the 2025 campaign. A 20-year-old infielder, Arroyo slashed .285/.400/.509 with 23 homers and 18 stolen bases between Single-A Modesto and High-A Everett in 2024. He could moved up to Double-A Arkansas in 2025.

Impact Arroyo, who opened the year as one of the top prospects in the Arizona Complex League, hit .636 with one strikeout in his first four ACL games before getting promoted to Single-A on June 13. He is a hit-over-power middle infielder, but Arroyo is ahead of schedule in the power department, as he has a .723 slugging percentage in a small sample across the two levels.
