Seranthony Domínguez - Snags extra-inning win Dominguez (2-3) picked up the win Wednesday, striking out one in a perfect 10th inning during a 3-2 victory over the Angels.

Impact After the White Sox tied the game in the bottom of the ninth, Dominguez was called in for the top of the 10th and never even let the phantom runner advance from second base. The veteran righty then got rewarded when Colson Montgomery walked it off with a bases-loaded single. Dominguez has a 4.15 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB through 13 innings to begin the season and has converted seven of nine save chances.

Impact The veteran right-hander put together his longest outing of the season, tossing 65 of 103 pitches for strikes en route to his second quality start, but Fedde left the mound staring at a 2-1 deficit after serving up solo shots to Mike Trout in the third inning and Vaughn Grissom in the seventh. The White Sox were able to rally against a patchwork Halos bullpen, however. Fedde will take a 3.24 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 22:11 K:BB through 33.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road early next week in a rematch with the Angels.

Vaughn Grissom - Swats first homer of 2026 Grissom went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

Impact The 25-year-old infielder got his first start of the season against a right-handed pitcher, getting the nod at first base in place of a resting Nolan Schanuel, and Grissom took advantage by driving an Erick Fedde sweeper over the left-field fence in the seventh inning. Grissom's slashing an impressive .342/.413/.526 through 13 games since coming off the IL with four doubles, one homer, five RBI and six runs, and if he continues to show he can be more than a short-side platoon option, he could begin to push Adam Frazier aside at second base and stake a claim to the starting job.

Mike Trout - Launches homer No. 10 Trout went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

Impact Trout took Erick Fedde deep in the fourth inning to get the Angels on the board. The future Hall of Famer is up to 10 homers on the season, tied for fourth in the American League with Ben Rice behind Aaron Judge (12), Munetaka Murakami (12) and Yordan Alvarez (11), and through 31 games Trout is slashing .248/.431/.569 with five steals, 21 RBI and 27 runs.

Impact The right-hander was called upon to get the final six outs with the Angels up 2-1, but Zeferjahn couldn't quite get his team across the finish line, hitting Tristan Peters with a pitch before Sam Antonacci tied the game with a two-out triple. The Halos' closer situation is wide open with Jordan Romano having been cut loose over the weekend, and while it's encouraging that Zeferjahn was entrusted with the save opportunity, he still failed to get the job done. Through 16.1 innings over 11 appearances this season, he's stumbled to a 5.51 ERA despite a 1.16 WHIP, 21:8 K:BB and zero homers allowed. Drew Pomeranz, who got tagged with the loss in the 10th inning, and Chase Silseth are also likely in the closing mix, with Kirby Yates (knee) and Ben Joyce (shoulder) inching closer to coming off the IL and tossing their hats in the ring as well.
