Jacob Webb - Removed from 40-man roster The Angels designated Webb for assignment Saturday.
Impact Webb made it through Friday's appearance without allowing a run, but he walked three batters, and that was apparently the last straw for Los Angeles. The 29-year-old righty has handed out 20 free passes and served up six homers in 31.2 innings in the majors this season. Kenny Rosenberg was added in a corresponding move.

Sam Bachman - Moved to 60-day IL Bachman (shoulder) was transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day injured list early in the week, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Impact Bachman was diagnosed with right shoulder inflammation in mid-July and was subsequently placed on the 15-day IL. Per MLB.com, the rookie right-hander had not yet resumed throwing at the time he was moved to the 60-day IL on Aug. 1. Bachman will now be out of action until at least mid-September.

Impact Drury played the full game at second base after missing over a month with a shoulder injury. It was unclear what kind of playing time he would see upon his return, but with Zach Neto (back) going on the injured list, Drury has a chance to take over second base with Luis Rengifo moving to shortstop. Drury has had a productive season, slashing .276/.322/.497 with 14 home runs, 45 RBI, 36 runs scored, 17 doubles and two triples over 76 contests.

Impact Moniak's fifth-inning blast tied the game at 7-7, but the Angels' offense stalled out there. The outfielder snapped a 13-game homer drought, a span in which he hit .246 with three RBI. He's cooled off a bit lately, but he still has a strong .311/.342/.566 slash line with 12 homers, 37 RBI, 30 runs scored and four stolen bases over 57 contests. Moniak's playing time is likely to remain steady until Mike Trout (wrist) can return to action.

Luis Rengifo - Homers in Friday's loss Rengifo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Friday's 9-7 loss to the Mariners.
Impact Rengifo logged his seventh multi-hit effort in his last 13 games, a span in which he's batting .315 (17-for-54) with nine extra-base hits. It looked like his path to everyday playing time would close with Brandon Drury (shoulder) returning from the injured list, but Zach Neto (back) was placed on the IL as the corresponding move. This likely means Rengifo will have a chance to win the starting shortstop job in the near term, competing primarily with Andrew Velazquez. Rengifo is slashing just .230/.318/.397 on the year with 11 homers, 34 RBI, 42 runs scored and five stolen bases through 96 contests, but he's been hot enough lately to warrant a look in at least AL-only fantasy formats.

Impact Moustakas had gone 11 games without a homer, though he hit a productive .318 with four doubles in that span. The infielder has reached double-digit homers for the first time since 2019. He's slashing .270/.336/.451 with 34 RBI, 37 runs scored and 11 doubles over 76 contests between the Rockies and the Angels this season. Moustakas should continue to see a strong-side platoon role at a minimum, with his success cutting into Eduardo Escobar's playing time at third base.

Reid Detmers - Struggles versus Mariners Detmers allowed seven runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four over four innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Friday.
Impact Detmers has gone five straight outings without a win, and he's failed to complete five innings in three of those appearances. The southpaw was tagged for a trio of home runs Friday, which accounted for six of the seven runs against him. Detmers is at a 4.78 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 131:41 K:BB through 105.1 innings over 20 starts this season. He's projected for a tough road start in Houston next week.
