Gio Urshela - Ditches crutches Urshela (pelvis) said Sunday that he resumed walking without the aid of crutches earlier in the week, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Impact Urshela has been out since mid-June with a fractured left pelvis, an injury that the Angels announced will keep him out for the remainder of the season. Fortunately for Urshela, he'll avoid surgery to address the injury, and he said Sunday that he should be in store for a normal offseason. The 31-year-old is set to become a free agent this winter and will likely have to settle for a one-year deal on the open market.

Logan O'Hoppe - Starting rehab at Single-A O'Hoppe (shoulder) will report to Single-A Inland Empire this week to begin a rehab assignment, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Impact O'Hoppe has been sidelined since late April while working his way back from surgery to repair a torn labrum. He's reached the final stage of his arduous recovery program by heading out on a rehab assignment, but because of his lengthy layoff, O'Hoppe will likely require most of the 20-day rehab window to regain his timing at the plate before he's activated from the 60-day injured list. Once he's activated, O'Hoppe could supplant Matt Thaiss as the Angels' everyday catcher.
