Sebastián Rivero - Notches steal in loss Rivero went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Brewers.
Impact This was the first career steal for Rivero. The catcher is batting .192 with two RBI, four runs scored, two doubles and no home runs over nine games in the majors with the Angels this year, his first taste of big-league action since 2022 with the Royals. He'll compete with Logan O'Hoppe for playing time over the last three series of the season.

Christian Moore - Swipes bag Thursday Moore went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one walk and one stolen base in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Brewers.
Impact This was Moore's first multi-hit effort in five games since he rejoined the major-league roster. The second baseman has gone 4-for-16 with three walks and seven strikeouts in that span, though all four of his knocks have gone for extra bases. Moore is now at a .202/.297/.388 slash line, six homers, 14 RBI, 17 runs scored, four doubles, one triple and one steal through his first 44 MLB games.

Luis Rengifo - Blasts ninth homer Rengifo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Brewers.
Impact Rengifo's playing time has picked up a bit while he has filled in for Yoan Moncada (ankle) at third base over the last few days, though Moncada was able to appear as a pinch hitter Thursday. Rengifo has gone 10-for-53 (.189) over 16 games in September while slipping into a utility role as the Angels get a look at some prospects in an injury-riddled infield. For the season, Rengifo has nine homers, 43 RBI, 53 runs scored, 10 stolen bases and a .240/.291/.340 slash line, with that .631 OPS being his worst in four years.

Impact Kikuchi has walked at least three batters in four of his last seven starts. He's at least gotten the rest of his work under control, allowing just three runs over his last 11.2 innings across two starts, but his winless stretch reached seven games Thursday. For the season, Kikuchi has a 4.05 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 168:73 K:BB through 173.1 innings across 32 starts. The southpaw is tentatively projected for his last start of the season at home against the Royals next week.
