Nabs minors deal from Pirates Palacios signed a minor-league contract with the Pirates on Tuesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Impact Palacios played in Pittsburgh during the 2023 and '24 campaigns, and he'll now get another shot at returning to the big leagues after slashing .339/.434/.621 across 145 plate appearances with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League. He'll report to Triple-A Indianapolis.
