Records fourth homer
Soler went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Brewers.
Impact
Soler launched a home run to lead off the seventh inning-- his fourth of the season. His power has been mysteriously missing for much of the season, as he has only a .161 ISO through 168 plate appearances, his lowest mark since 2017 when he earned only 110 plate appearances. Despite those struggles, Soler continues to hit in the middle of the Royals' order, which has allowed him to rack up 24 RBI across 42 games.

Homers, drives in six
Soler went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and six RBI during Tuesday's loss to the Royals.
Impact
Down 7-0 in the eighth inning, Soler put the Royals on the board with a three-run shot against Kyle Funkhouser. The 29-year-old added the exclamation point of the game with a three-run double in the ninth, knotting up the score, 7-7. It was the the third long ball and 11th double of the season for Soler, who has struggled to replicate the powerhouse of a campaign he pieced together in 2019 with 48 home runs. Across 34 games this year, he's batting .200/.280/.374.

Knocks in two runs
Soler went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 8-6 loss to Cleveland.
Impact
Soler opened the scoring in the third inning with a sacrifice fly to bring home Andrew Benintendi. In the seventh, Soler plated Carlos Santana with an RBI double before scoring on a Hunter Dozier homer. The 29-year-old Soler is up to two home runs, 14 RBI and 11 runs scored through 27 contests. He's slashing just .202/.288/.360 across 104 plate appearances, but Soler ranks among the league leaders in hard-hit rate and average exit velocity, and he's actually trimmed his strikeout rate noticeably from last season (from 34.5 percent to 28), so he presents an intriguing buy-low opportunity.

Strong performance Wednesday
Soler went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the Pirates.
Impact
Soler has been extremely inconsistent so far and was coming off three straight hitless appearances before breaking out here -- the three hits tied a season-high mark for the outfielder, who also ended a streak of four games without an RBI. Soler has had just four multi-hit games this season and is hitting .213 with a .705 OPS across 88 plate appearances in 2021.

Falls triple short of cycle
Soler went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's 9-8 win over the Rays.
Impact
Soler had a massive day at the plate, taking Michael Wacha deep to left to begin the fourth and doubling off the top of the wall in the sixth. The home run was his first since Opening Day. Soler can hit the ball as hard as anyone in the league, but his slugging numbers haven't quite been what fantasy managers are looking for so far this season. The 29-year-old now owns a slash line of .208/.328/.377 with five extra-base hits, six RBI and six runs scored through his first 17 games.

Two-hit effort Thursday
Soler went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Blue Jays.
Impact
Soler hit a double in the fourth inning and scored on Hunter Dozier's double. This was just the second multi-hit effort for Soler in 11 games this season. He's slashing .171/.310/.286 with a homer, four RBI and four runs scored across 42 plate appearances.
