Impact Made, who turns 18 on Thursday, is the second-youngest player at Single-A behind Miami's Andrew Salas, yet Made has been 42 percent better than league average while getting to power and speed in games after an aggressive assignment. He has lived up to very high preseason expectations and has been even better of late, hitting .375 with two home runs and seven strikeouts over his last seven games.

Impact The 17-year-old switch-hitting infielder tweaked his ankle in his professional debut April 4, causing him to miss a few days of action before he returned to the Carolina lineup as a designated hitter Thursday. He then picked up a pair of starts at shortstop and one at third base to close out the week, so Carolina doesn't seem to have much concern about him being inhibited by the ankle at the plate, on the basepaths or in the field moving forward. The youngest prospect in the Carolina League, Made already appears to be holding his own at the Single-A level and could end up reaching High-A Wisconsin later this summer.

Day-to-day with rolled ankle Made rolled his ankle in Friday's game for Single-A Carolina but he may not have to go on the injured list, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact The Brewers were cautious and held Made out of action over the weekend and his next chance to play will be Wednesday at Myrtle Beach. Made, who turns 18 in a month, is coming off one of the best Dominican Summer League campaigns in history and has a chance to be a fast rising superstar shortstop or third baseman.

Impact Saturday's appearance was the first in the United States for Made, who will be 17 years old for another month. Big things are expected from the youngster, who owns a prominent spot on most top-100 lists and is already considered by some to be the top prospect in Milwaukee's ranks.
