Brewers Running Out of Reasons to Hold Jesús Made in Double-A
The Milwaukee Brewers need to consider a Jesús Made promotion sooner rather than later.

Tacks on three steals
Made went 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and three steals in a game with Double-A Biloxi on Thursday.
Impact
It was another stellar showing for Made, who racked up multiple hits for the sixth time in 16 games -- a span over which he posted a 1.119 OPS -- and upped his stolen-base count on the season to 11. There is not much room for Made to advance up prospect lists, but he has only solidified his standing as one of the top up-and-comers in the game.

Hits first double-A homer
Made went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs, a walk and a stolen base in a game with Double-A Biloxi on Sunday.
Impact
Made went 1-for-10 over his first two games of the 2026 season, but it did not take him long to provide a reminder that he is one of the best prospects in baseball. He is playing full-time at Double-A, but one month shy of his 19th birthday it remains most likely he will not reach the majors until 2027.

Sent to minors camp
The Brewers reassigned Made to minor-league camp Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Made was awarded with an invitation to major-league camp after slashing .285/.379/.413 across three levels in the minors last season. The top prospect will turn just 19 in May, so he never had a real chance to make the team. Made should return to Double-A Biloxi to begin the 2026 season.

Putting potential on display
Made went 2-for-2 with a triple, an RBI and a run in Wednesday's spring game.
Impact
Made got his feet wet with the Brewers last spring, but he has already racked up both more at-bats and hits than he did throughout the last exhibition season. The 18-year-old is destined to start the season in the minors after just reaching the Double-A level late in 2024, but he is one of the top prospects in all of baseball, and he could be ready to make an impact at the top level in 2027.

Invited to spring training
The Brewers have extended Made an invitation to big-league camp during spring training, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Impact
Made will turn just 19 in May and has only five games of experience above A-ball, so he's not going to make the Opening Day roster. Nevertheless, the Brewers wanted to reward the top prospect with a camp invite after he slashed .285/.379/.413 with six home runs, 47 stolen bases and a 67:108 BB:K over 525 plate appearances across three levels in 2025. Made will likely return to Double-A Biloxi to begin the 2026 season.

Moving up to Double-A
Made was promoted to Double-A Biloxi on Sunday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.
Impact
Made produced a .343 average with 11 extra-base hits, including two homers, with 12 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases over 108 at-bats in 27 games with High-A Wisconsin after being promoted from Singla-A Carolina in early August. The 18-year-old phenom will now be just two steps away from making his major-league debut.

Moving up to High-A
Made is being promoted to High-A Wisconsin, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
Made has been rather productive with Single-A Carolina this season, batting .267 with four home runs, 46 RBI, 55 runs scored and an eye-popping 40 stolen bases over 322 at-bats in 83 games. The 18-year-old is considered to be Milwaukee's No. 1 overall prospect, but he's still likely multiple years away from making his major-league debut.

Playing up to expectations
Made is hitting .305 with a .400 OBP, three home runs, eight steals and a 21.1 percent strikeout rate in 20 games for Single-A Carolina.
Impact
Made, who turns 18 on Thursday, is the second-youngest player at Single-A behind Miami's Andrew Salas, yet Made has been 42 percent better than league average while getting to power and speed in games after an aggressive assignment. He has lived up to very high preseason expectations and has been even better of late, hitting .375 with two home runs and seven strikeouts over his last seven games.

Moves past ankle issue
Made (ankle) started in each of Single-A Carolina's last four games, going 4-for-16 with a home run, two doubles, three walks, four runs, three RBI and one stolen base during that...
Impact
The 17-year-old switch-hitting infielder tweaked his ankle in his professional debut April 4, causing him to miss a few days of action before he returned to the Carolina lineup as a designated hitter Thursday. He then picked up a pair of starts at shortstop and one at third base to close out the week, so Carolina doesn't seem to have much concern about him being inhibited by the ankle at the plate, on the basepaths or in the field moving forward. The youngest prospect in the Carolina League, Made already appears to be holding his own at the Single-A level and could end up reaching High-A Wisconsin later this summer.

Day-to-day with rolled ankle
Made rolled his ankle in Friday's game for Single-A Carolina but he may not have to go on the injured list, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact
The Brewers were cautious and held Made out of action over the weekend and his next chance to play will be Wednesday at Myrtle Beach. Made, who turns 18 in a month, is coming off one of the best Dominican Summer League campaigns in history and has a chance to be a fast rising superstar shortstop or third baseman.

Makes first stateside appearance
Made went 0-for-4 with a run, a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's game with Low-A Carolina.
Impact
Saturday's appearance was the first in the United States for Made, who will be 17 years old for another month. Big things are expected from the youngster, who owns a prominent spot on most top-100 lists and is already considered by some to be the top prospect in Milwaukee's ranks.
