Ben Williamson drove in the winning run with a single after Yandy Díaz tied it with an RBI single and the Tampa Bay Rays rallied in the eighth inning to beat the Toronto Blue Jays...

Hitting bench against lefty Fraley is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact With a lefty (Eric Lauer) on the bump for the Blue Jays, the Rays will go with Ryan Vilade over the left-handed-hitting Fraley in right field. Fraley had started in each of the Rays' last five games, going 3-for-14 with a double, a walk and an RBI over that stretch.

Homers in return to lineup Fraley went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Twins.
Impact Fraley gave the Rays a 2-0 lead they wouldn't relinquish with a 401-foot blast in the fourth inning. He was later replaced by Jonny DeLuca, who entered to face lefty Taylor Rogers in the seventh. On the season, the 30-year-old Fraley is slashing .240/.309/.440 with two homers, four RBI, four runs scored and two steals across 55 plate appearances.

Back in lineup Fraley (shin) will start in right field and bat fifth Saturday against the Twins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact Fraley missed the Rays' last two games after fouling a pitch off his leg Tuesday, but he's now feeling well enough to return to the starting nine. The 30-year-old outfielder has collected a hit in six of his last eight games and is slashing .261/.320/.435 with a homer, two RBI and two runs in that span.

Sitting again Friday Fraley (shin) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Impact Fraley will remain on the bench Friday for a second straight game after fouling a pitch off himself during Tuesday's game against the Reds. Jonny DeLuca is starting in right field and batting fifth against Minnesota righty and former teammate Taj Bradley.

Not starting Wednesday Fraley (lower leg) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Impact Fraley was lifted early in Tuesday's 12-6 loss after bruising his right lower leg when he fouled a pitch off himself. He'll get at least one day out of the lineup to recover, though with left-hander Brandon Williamson starting for the Reds, the left-handed-hitting Fraley likely would have been on the bench Wednesday even if he had emerged healthy from Tuesday's contest.

Rays bring 3-game losing streak into matchup with the Reds

The Tampa Bay Rays will try to end a three-game losing streak when they take on the Cincinnati Reds
APRIL 22 • Associated Press
Exits with bruised leg Fraley was removed from Tuesday's game against the Reds with a right lower-leg contusion, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
Impact Fraley suffered the injury when he fouled a pitch off his leg in the second inning, though he wasn't taken out of the game until the fourth. The Rays are considering him day-to-day for now, though he may sit out a game or two to allow any lingering soreness to fade before returning to the lineup.
APRIL 22 • ROTOWIRE
Taking seat Sunday Fraley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Impact The Rays are facing a right-hander (Mitch Keller) in the series finale, but left-handed-hitting Fraley will be held out of the starting nine nonetheless while Jonny DeLuca replaces him in right field. Fraley has recorded hits in five of his last six starts but is still holding down a pedestrian .227/.292/.364 slash line over 48 plate appearances on the season.

Rays rally in 9th with 2 bases-loaded walks for 5-3 win over White Sox, stretch win streak to 6

Junior Caminero homered and the Tampa Rays scored twice on bases-loaded walks in the ninth inning, rallying for a 5-3 win over the Chicago White Sox
APRIL 16 • Associated Press
Exiting starting nine Thursday Fraley is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox.
Impact Though right-hander Jordan Leasure is opening the game for Chicago, the left-handed Anthony Kay is scheduled to cover the bulk of the innings out of the bullpen, which has likely influenced the Rays' decision to hold the left-handed-hitting Fraley out of the lineup. Jonny DeLuca will pick up a start in right field in place of Fraley.

Caminero, Fraley and DeLuca homer as Rays pound White Sox 8-3 for 5th straight win

APRIL 16 • Associated Press
Not in Friday's lineup Fraley is absent from the lineup for Friday's contest against the Yankees.
Impact Right-hander Luis Gil will be getting the ball for the Yankees, but the left-handed-hitting Fraley will nonetheless begin the game on the bench. Righty Jonny DeLuca will patrol right field and hit sixth for the Rays.

Nico Hoerner powers the Cubs to a 6-2 victory over the error-prone Rays at Tropicana Field

Returns to Rays' lineup Fraley (shoulder) will start in right field and bat cleanup in Tuesday's game versus the Brewers.
Impact Fraley had to be scratched from Sunday's lineup due to right shoulder soreness and then didn't play Monday as the Brewers sent a left-hander to the mound. However, the left-handed-hitting Fraley feels well enough to give it a go Tuesday against right-hander Brandon Woodruff.

Scratched from Sunday's lineup Fraley was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Impact Fraley was set to start in right field and bat third but is no longer in the starting nine. The Rays have yet to provide a reason for the 30-year-old's removal from the lineup, but he's presumably dealing with an injury. Jonny DeLuca has replaced him in right field for Sunday's contest.

Strong start in Grapefruit League Fraley went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's Grapefruit League game against Atlanta.
Impact Fraley is off to a nice start this spring, having gone 4-for-13 (.308) with four RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base covering seven Grapefruit League outings. The 30-year-old is lined up for a strong-side platoon role in right field to start his first season with the Rays, but he'll likely lose at-bats to Jonny DeLuca versus left-handed pitching. Last regular season, Fraley hit .241 with just six home runs, 23 RBI and four stolen bases across 191 at-bats for Cincinnati and Atlanta.
