Healthy again at Triple-A Larsen (hand) has gone 6-for-24 with a 5:6 BB:K in seven games for Triple-A Tacoma since returning from the 7-day injured list May 2.

Impact Larsen missed the first month of the minor-league season while recovering from surgery to repair a fractured hamate bone in his hand. Though he's healthy again, the 28-year-old doesn't have a spot on the Mariners' 40-man roster and will face an uphill battle to resurface in the majors in 2023 if most of Seattle's key outfielders are able to avoid injuries.

Impact Larsen was designated for assignment by Seattle earlier this week but will stick in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 27-year-old made his MLB debut last weekend and struck out in his lone plate appearance.

Impact Two days after getting his first call to the majors and starting in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Astros, Larsen will return to Double-A. The Mariners' outfield depth is still being tested by a multitude of injuries, but waiver pickup Travis Jankowski was added to the active roster Tuesday and will give Seattle a more experienced backup option than Larsen.
