Beginning rehab assignment Brazoban (lat) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday, James Fegan of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Impact Brazoban landed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 25 with a left lat strain, so he shouldn't require a lengthy rehab stint with Charlotte. Picked up at the trade deadline from the Mets, Brazoban has been hit hard in 10 appearances with Chicago, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and six walks with just five strikeouts across 10 innings.
