Sent to Salt Lake The Angels optioned Campero to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Impact Campero put together a solid spring, going 6-for-18 with two RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base over 12 games. However, the 27-year-old slashed just .239/.271/.348 across 48 plate appearances with the Angels last year, so he'll return to Triple-A to continue developing at the plate.
