Dominant seven innings
Peralta allowed one hit and one walk while striking out eight across seven scoreless innings Tuesday against the Cardinals. He did not factor into the decision.
Impact
Peralta dominated the Cardinals by piling up 17 swinging strikes across 97 total pitches in his longest outing of the campaign. Despite working at least six innings only three times, Peralta has punched out at least seven hitters in all seven of the games he's started this season. The result is a strong 2.77 ERA with a 61:18 K:BB across 39 innings. Peralta currently lines up to make his next start Sunday against Atlanta.

Stuck with first loss
Peralta (3-1) took the loss Wednesday as the Brewers fell 5-4 to the Phillies, coughing up five runs on four hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out eight.
Impact
All five runs crossed the plate in a rough first inning, and while Peralta was able to steady the ship afterward, Milwaukee's offense couldn't climb out of the hole. The right-hander threw 44 of 73 pitches for strikes, and he'll take a 3.38 ERA and impressive 53:17 K:BB through 32 innings into his next outing.

Pick up win No. 3
Peralta (3-0) allowed one run on one hit and a walk while striking out seven over six innings in a 3-1 win over the Dodgers on Friday.
Impact
Peralta was absolutely dominant Friday. The 25-year-old allowed his only hit of the night when A.J. Pollock homered off him to begin the fifth and managed to issue just one walk for a second straight start. The right-hander was battling for a rotation spot during spring training and has undoubtedly run away with the opportunity as he currently owns a 2.25 ERA and 45:14 K:BB over 28 innings. He's next expected to pitch on the road against the Phillies next week.

Seven whiffs in no-decision
Peralta didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over four innings while striking out seven.
Impact
The right-hander checked out after throwing 81 pitches (52 strikes) and was in line for the loss until the Brewers' bats got rolling in the fifth inning. Peralta has struck out at least six batters in all five of his starts but has lasted longer than five innings only once, and his inefficiency does put a cap on his wins potential and fantasy value. He'll take a 2.45 ERA and 38:13 K:BB through 22 innings into his next outing Thursday at home against the Dodgers.
