Back on bench Tuesday Clement is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Impact Clement made two straight starts at third base to close out the Guardians' weekend series with the Dodgers, but he'll move back into his usual reserve role Tuesday with Jose Ramirez (thumb) ready to go after a brief absence. Along with Ramirez, designated hitter Franmil Reyes (hamstring) is back in action Tuesday, putting the Guardians lineup back at full strength. As a result, Clement is expected to see limited opportunities moving forward, with most of the starts he receives likely to come against left-handed pitching.

Impact With the Guardians' infield fully healthy, there hasn't been much of an opportunity for Clement to start. He'll likely see most of his limited playing time at second base if Owen Miller's hitting form starts to slip, but it's unlikely Clement sees much more than a bench role in the immediate future. Clement has a .204/.283/.259 slash line with three doubles, seven runs scored and three RBI through 61 plate appearances.
