Back in majors The Nationals recalled Yean from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.
Impact The right-hander received his first promotion to the majors July 5 and made his debut that day versus Pittsburgh, firing two scoreless frames before returning to Rochester. Yean has pitched to a 3.35 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 47:20 K:BB across 43 innings for Rochester this year, and it may not take much for him to stick around Washington's bullpen given the immense struggles the unit has gone through this year.

Sent back to Triple-A The Nationals optioned Yean to Triple-A Rochester following Sunday's 11-5 loss to the Pirates.
Impact Yean was recalled from Triple-A prior to Sunday's game. He was brought in for the third inning and looked good in his major-league debut, allowing one walk and zero hits while striking out three across two scoreless frames. Yean will head back to Rochester but could return to the majors when the Nationals need more right-handed depth out of the bullpen.
