Anderson scheduled to start for Texas against Oakland

Named Saturday's starter Anderson will be the starting pitcher for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

Impact Anderson has totaled four scoreless innings across two appearances since being recalled July 30, though he failed to record a strikeout while working around five hits. He served as a starter during his time with Triple-A Round Rock, but since he's worked out of the bullpen since joining the big club, the 27-year-old hasn't logged more than three innings since July 24. With that in mind, the right-hander may not be fully stretched out Saturday, but he still figures to have a decent chance to qualify for a potential win.

Impact The 27-year-old owns a career 9.67 ERA in 22.1 innings at the big-league level. He's spent the year with Triple-A Round Rock, where he owns a strong 3.15 ERA and 1.20 WHIP.
