Bumped up to Triple-A Crisantes has been promoted from Double-A Amarillo to Triple-A Reno, Chase Ford of MiLB Central reports.

Impact Crisantes earned the promotion after slashing an impressive .319/.413/.548 with five home runs and a 19:29 BB:K in 35 games with Amarillo. The 21-year-old has played second base exclusively this season, which lessens his chances of a promotion later this season since that's Ketel Marte's position with the big club.

Rejoining Amarillo lineup Double-A Amarillo reinstated Crisantes (hamstring) from its 7-day injured list Tuesday.

Impact Crisantes is set to make his 2026 debut for Amarillo after a hamstring injury kept him out for most of the first two months of the minor-league season. The 21-year-old infielder was cleared to return to action for the Double-A club after he went 5-for-20 with two home runs, a double and six walks across seven rehab games between the Diamondbacks' rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate and High-A Hillsboro.

Out 6-8 weeks Double-A Amarillo placed Crisantes on the 7-day injured list April 3 with a hamstring injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB Pipeline reports.

Impact He is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks with what is presumably a strain. Crisantes was given an aggressive assignment to Double-A after missing most of 2025 after suffering a significant left shoulder injury. He isn't a big-time athlete, but when healthy, Crisantes has been one of the better pure hitters in the lower levels of the minors. He hit an unlucky (.257 BABIP) .252 with a .358 OBP, four home runs, six steals and more walks (21) than strikeouts (19) in 34 games at High-A as a 20-year-old.

Planned to open in Amarillo The Diamondbacks plan to have Crisantes open the 2026 season as the starting second baseman at Double-A Amarillo, Sam Dykstra of MLB.com reports.

Impact Crisantes had his 2025 season cut short in May by a posterior labral tear in his left shoulder at High-A Hillsboro. At the time of the injury, he was slashing .252/.358/.415 with four homers in 34 games to begin his age-20 campaign. More impressively, he walked more than struck out and had an in-zone contact rate of 93 percent. The organization feels confident in pushing the 21-year-old up a level.

Overcomes shoulder issue Crisantes (shoulder) has appeared in three Cactus League games since making his spring debut Wednesday, going a collective 3-for-7 with one double.

Impact Crisantes was eased into workouts this spring after he underwent left shoulder surgery back in May, but the 21-year-old demonstrated enough progress in his recovery for the Diamondbacks to sign off on him playing in games. Crisantes is attending camp as a non-roster invitee and is likely to be assigned to High-A Hillsboro to open the 2026 season.

Not fully cleared Crisantes (shoulder) is expected to start playing soon once he's fully cleared, Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports reports.

Impact Crisantes suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in May of 2025 and was limited to 34 games at High-A Hillsboro. The 21-year-old infielder could be in line for regular opportunities over the next two weeks with Ketel Marte (Dominican Republic) and Nolan Arenado (Puerto Rico) heading to the World Baseball Classic this week.
