Impact Sulser had been at Triple-A Buffalo in the Blue Jays organization but was released last week after posting a 5.29 ERA and 37:13 K:BB over 47.2 innings. He's been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis, where he will provide relief depth. Sulser last appeared in the majors in 2022.

Inks minors deal with Pittsburgh Sulser signed a minor-league contract Thursday with the Pirates.

Impact Sulser will report to Double-A Altoona. The 29-year-old right-hander was cut loose by the KT Wiz of the Korea Baseball Organization earlier this month after struggling to a 5.80 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB over nine starts covering 49.2 innings.
