Impact Senzatela gave up a run in the first inning before delivering five scoreless frames to produce his first quality start of the year. It was also the first time he finished at least six innings this season and the solid outing snapped a three-start losing streak. Senzatela dropped his ERA to 4.81 alongside a lackluster 9:5 K:BB through 24.1 frames. He's given up a whopping 42 hits during that span. Senzatela is lined up for a home matchup with the Reds next weekend.

Struggles against Los Angeles Senzatela (0-3) took the loss against the Dodgers on Monday, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out one batter over 4.1 innings.
Impact Senzatela fell behind early on a two-run Mookie Betts homer in the first inning, and he served up another long ball -- this time to Shohei Ohtani -- in the third. The right-handed hurler was pulled in the bottom of the fifth after giving up another run on a double and a single. Senzatela lacked the ability to miss bats Monday, as he notched just seven whiffs on 91 pitches and struck out only one batter. He remarkably began the campaign with no earned runs allowed over his first two starts covering 9.2 frames despite giving up 19 hits over that span, but the odds have since caught up with him. Across his past two outings, Senzatela has allowed 12 earned runs on 17 hits over 8.2 innings.

Battered by Brew Crew Senzatela (0-2) took the loss against Milwaukee on Wednesday, allowing nine runs (eight earned) on eight hits and one walk while notching three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.
Impact Senzatela didn't allow an earned run over 9.2 frames across his first two starts of the campaign, but those results seemed quite misleading given that he gave up 19 hits during that span. The eight hits the righty allowed Wednesday remarkably registered as his fewest so far this season, but the parade of baserunners caught up to him this time around, as the Brewers pounded him for nine runs, five of which came via the long ball. Senzatela has posted an ERA below 4.38 just once in his eight big-league seasons, so his run-free first two starts never seemed likely to hold up, especially given his home ballpark. Senzatela will nonetheless look to bounce back the next time he takes the mound, which is tentatively slated to be in Los Angeles in a tough matchup against the Dodgers early next week.

Impact Senzatela secured a rotation spot with an impressive 1.21 ERA and 0.90 WHIP over 22.1 spring innings but was lucky to get out of this contest unscathed.
