Announces retirement from baseball Knapp announced his retirement from professional baseball Sunday.

Impact The 33-year-old broke the news on his personal Instagram account. Knapp played parts of seven seasons in the majors, slashing .209/.309/.312 with 13 home runs over 328 games between the Phillies, Pirates, Mariners and Giants.
