Moving up to Double-A Duno was promoted to Double-A Chattanooga on Sunday.

Impact Duno will make the leap to the Double-A level after producing a .250 batting average with 16 home runs, 47 RBI, 46 runs scored and two stolen bases over 242 at-bats in 65 contests with High-A Dayton so far this season. The 20-year-old is considered to the the Reds' top overall prospect, and he could be on track to make his major-league debut during the 2027 campaign.

Mashing in Midwest League Duno has homered in three consecutive games for High-A Dayton and is currently riding an eight-game hit steak.

Impact After a slow start to the season -- Duno batted .203 over the first 20 contests -- the catching prosepct has put on a show in the Midwest League. Since April 30, he's gone 16-for-40 (.400) with seven extra-base hits (four home runs) and nine RBI over 10 games. In addition to the bat coming around recently, Duno has showed off strong plate discipline and swing decisions for the Dragons all season with a .412 OBP, an 18.7 BB% and 25:28 BB:K.

On-base machine for Dragons Duno is hitting .320 with a .500 OBP, one home run and more walks (10) than strikeouts (six) through eight games for High-A Dayton.

Impact Duno has a massive 6-foot-2 frame for a catcher who won't turn 21 until the offseason, but so far it hasn't impeded his work at the plate or behind it. He has ripped three doubles in addition to his home run, and Duno's 10.6 percent swinging-strike rate would be a career best mark.

Earns MVP Award at Single-A Duno was named the MVP of the Single-A Florida State League on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Impact After a rib injury in 2024 limited Duno to 32 games, the catcher broke out in 2025 for Single-A Daytona. The 19-year-old paced the FSL with 18 homers, 81 RBI and a .948 OPS while finishing second in average (.287). Duno also displayed plate discipline, working 95 walks with just 81 strikeouts. With a 6-foot-2 frame, he'll need to manage his weight going forward, but his first full healthy season hinted at Duno's promise. He currently ranks as the ninth best catching prospect in the minors.

Impact One of the most feared hitters in the Florida State League, the 19-year-old Duno is in complete control at the plate of late, as he walked more than twice as often (23.1 BB%) as he struck out (10.6 K%) last month. On the season, the hulking catcher is slashing .281/.426/.496 with 15 home runs, a 19.1 percent walk rate and an 18.4 percent strikeout rate in 109 games. He is two or three years away from the big leagues, but Duno has the upside to be a top five fantasy catcher in his prime.
