Chiefs vs. Giants Highlights: Patrick Mahomes' Fourth-Quarter TD Gives Kansas City Needed Edge in 22-9 Win
It wasn't pretty, but the Kansas City Chiefs came away with their first win of 2025 Sunday night with a 22-9 victory over the New York Giants.
A loss to the woeful Giants may have led to panic mode in Kansas City, but instead, the club can now say it avoided its first 0-3 start of the Patrick Mahomes era.
Unfortunately for the Giants (0-3), the floundering franchise struggled mightily a week after the offense exploded for 506 yards, including 450 passing yards from Russell Wilson. The Chiefs defense, still coached by one of the best in Steve Spagnuolo, again proved to be a force to be reckoned with.
As for K.C.'s offense … well, Patrick Mahomes is still Patrick Mahomes. So, for now, the balance of power, at least in the AFC, remains in the Chiefs' favor in what may have been the perfect scenario to fix what's ailed them to start the season.
