Impact Whaley played his first six holes in four-under-par during Sunday's final round at Port Royal, but he failed to make another birdie thereafter, ultimately falling two strokes shy of eventual tournament champion Adam Schenk. Nonetheless, the T3 result marked Whaley's third top-3 finish of the FedExCup Fall, ascending him to 73rd in the standings. Whaley plans to peg it again this week at The RSM Classic where he placed T8-T13 the past two years.
