Misses cut at PGA Championship Hovland posted a 74-72 scorecard through the first two rounds of the PGA Championship and missed the cut by two strokes.

Impact Hovland put himself in a hole early with four bogeys over the first eight holes of the first round, and he was unable to score even-par in the second round to qualify for the weekend. It was the first time in his career that Hovland missed the cut at the PGA Championship. It was also his second MC of 2026 (in 11 tournaments), though Hovland has cracked the top-10 just once this season at the WM Phoenix Open in early February. He's not listed in the field for the Byron Nelson next week.

T38 at Doral Hovland fired a six-under 66 on Sunday at the Cadillac Championship to finish four-under and tied for 38th.

Impact Hovland gained 1.833 strokes on approach and he converted all four of his scrambling opportunities during his bogey-free performance in Sunday's final round at Doral. He ended the Signature Event ranked T7 among the 72-man field in driving accuracy and ninth in putting from inside 10 feet, though Hovland made just 14 birdies all week. He'll be in the field again this week for the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Club, where he tied for third at the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship.

Falls apart at RBC Heritage Hovland finished tied for 42nd at the RBC Heritage after posting a six-under cumulative score.

Impact Hovland dominated over the first two rounds at Harbour Town, posting scores of 64-65 with 15 birdies and just two bogeys. He was one shot back of eventual winner Matt Fitzpatrick heading into the weekend, but Hovland ran into the wall over the final two rounds of the tournament, scoring a two-over 73 on Saturday before a disastrous five-over 76 score Sunday that included two double bogeys, four bogeys and three birdies. Hovland lost 4.09 strokes with his irons to rank 74th out of the field of 82 in SG: Approach, which cancelled out his strong short game (ninth in SG: Around-the-Green). It was an incredibly disappointing performance from the 28-year-old Norwegian, especially off the heels of his T18 at The Masters the week prior. Hovland isn't in the field for the Zurich Classic next week but should tee off at the Cadillac Championship in two weeks, which is the newest Signature Event on the PGA Tour schedule.
