Impact Hovland posted an even-par 70 in the opening round and had little room for error with the cut line set at one-over. He proceeded to go five-over in the first 10 holes of the second round, including a four-over stretch from holes four to six with a double bogey on the fifth. It was the fourth missed cut of the season for Hovland, but three of those MC's have been in each of the last three majors of 2026. He ranked 33rd in SG: Approach but also ranked 120th in SG: Putting, 137th in SG: Around and 152nd in SG: Off-the-Tee in a 155-man field. Hovland is not listed in the field for the 3M Open next week.
