Impact The 32-year-old will not participate in the event due to an undisclosed reason, allowing Takumi Kanaya to step in. Mullinax made his last appearance during The Players Championship on Thursday, carding five-over par and finishing in 61st place.

Impact The 32-year-old will be taking the place of Jonathan Byrd, who now becomes the first alternate for the tournament. Mullinax tied for 32nd at this year's WM Phoenix Open but has failed to make a cut since.

Impact Mullinax was never in serious contention to win as he started the round six back of the lead, but he impressively posted six birdies at a difficult Bay Hill setup Sunday. He had a solid week across the board, ranking in the top-35 in every strokes-gained category. Mullinax has had an inconsistent season thus far with just two top-25 finishes, albeit both are top-10s.
