Impact Pendrith got off to a nice start with a three-under 68 in the first round. He opened the second with back-to-back birdies but proceeded to go six-over the rest of the round, which included a four-hole stretch from the 17th to the second in which he carded three bogeys and a double bogey. Pendrith was one of the better short-game players through the first two days of the tournament and gained 1.32 strokes in that category Friday. However, he lost 3.51 strokes with his putter in the second round and dropped another 2.39 strokes with his irons. It was the sixth missed cut of the season (across 19 tournaments) for the 35-year-old Canadian and his first MC since the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in late April. He'll tee off next week at the Genesis Scottish Open, where he finished T13 in his debut at the event in 2025.
