Moves into top-100
Kanaya shot a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship to finish in a share of third place.
Impact
Kanaya headed into the final round just one shot off the lead, and he got off to a good start with two birdies in the first four holes to tie the lead. He cooled off thereafter, however, carding four bogeys across the next 10 holes and ultimately finished two back. Nevertheless, it was a much needed result for the 27-year-old, who climbed from 120th to 99th in the FedExCup Fall Standings as he looks to finish inside the top-100 to secure his Tour card for 2026.
