Crumbles in final round at Augusta Lowry recorded an eight-over 80 during the final round of The Masters to finish tied with Alex Noren and Harris English for 30th.

Impact Lowry found himself in contention for his first green jacket after going nine-under par through the first three days, highlighted by his ace on the sixth hole of the third round (his second hole-in-one in his career at Augusta National). However, the Irishman had a Sunday to forget, finishing with three double bogeys, five bogeys and three birdies. It was all the more disappointing given that eventual winner Rory McIlroy went even par over the final two rounds at Augusta, which opened the door for Lowry and the rest of the field to catch up, though the former did enough to earn his second green jacket in as many years. Lowry ended the tournament seventh in GIR, eighth in SG: Approach and 24th in SG: Tee-to-Green, though he ranked near the bottom in SG: Putting and SG: Off-the-Tee. He is in the field for next week's RBC Heritage, where he's made the cut in seven of eight previous outings (including two top-3s) and finished T18 in 2025.

Impact Lowry's highlight of the tournament came in the final round, when he aced the par-3 second hole. It was the fourth hole-in-one in Lowry's PGA Tour career, with his last taking place at the seventh hole at Pebble Beach in January of 2025. His 10 made birdies ranked near the bottom of the field at Memorial Park, but Lowry kept his mistakes to a minimum with just five bogeys (T5). He also finished eighth in scrambling, T20 in driving accuracy and T24 in SG: Off-the-Tee. It was an encouraging bounce back for Lowry, who missed the cut at both the Arnold Palmer Invitational and THE PLAYERS Championship, which came after his disastrous finish at the Cognizant Classic. The next time Lowry tees off will be April 9 for The Masters. He's made the cut in each of his last six outings at August, though he finished T43 and T42 in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
