Impact Lowry ranked third among the field in SG: Approach during Sunday's final round at Riviera, tallying seven birdies in the process. He ultimately finished 16th in SG: Ballstriking and T15 in GIR percentage, though the Irishman lost 1.4 strokes around the green while converting just 13 of 22 total scrambling opportunities. Nonetheless, Lowry has now gained over two strokes with his irons in back-to-back starts, and he plans to tee it up again this week at the Cognizant Classic where he placed T11-T4-T5-2 the past four years.

Impact Lowry is a great fit for Pebble Beach, especially considering the windy conditions players faced on the weekend. He proved that last year with a runner-up finish and again this year with a T8 in his 2026 season debut on the PGA Tour. Lowry ranked top 15 for the week in SG: Approach, SG: Putting, GIR's and scrambling. The game seems to be in a good spot heading to Riviera next week where he has played just once since 2018 (T14 in 2023).

Falters with double bogey in Dubai Lowry finished in a four-way tie for third at the Dubai Invitational after carding a two-under 69 in the final round.

Impact Lowry raced out to an early lead with three birdies through the first four holes and was sitting at four-under for the round heading to the par-4 18th. However, the 38-year-old Irishman's bunker shot on the 18th flew the green and into the water, eventually resulting in a double-bogey that led to him losing by two strokes to Nacho Elvira. Lowry led the field in SG: Approach (2.71) and SG: Tee to Green (2.71), en route to his sixth top-3 finish at a DP Tour event since 2022. He will be in the field for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic that tees off Thursday.
